So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away—look, what is new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
But, according to His promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness truly resides (2 Peter 3:13, NET Bible).
Today in worship, we look to the New. Not the illusion of new things, which the world provides, but the Newness of which only God can create. New Life! New Purpose! A New Heaven and a New Earth! We look back on that which He has done and look forward to the New things He will do.
