CBC’s Young Adults group consists of younger men and women ages 18+ who desire to live out the call of Christ to We desire to grow together in Christ through fellowship, prayer, service, study and worship. We possess unique gifts and abilities to serve the Church.
We meet on every other Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the parlor and alternate between Bible study and fellowship. There is also a weekly Bible study on Thursday evenings; contact Tom Wright.
Young Adults at Community Bible Chapel minister to international students, to the Youth Group and to the body through service projects. We actively engage during the summer when colleges are on break including classes, retreats and community building activities like softball and paintball. We are a smaller group of about 15 people who love and serve together.
However, we take seriously the call to following Christ and counting the cost of doing that. As a group we purpose to actively engage with others and spend less time doing traditional bible study and entertainment-based activities and more time loving our neighbors!
….Speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head into Christ….from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love…— Ephesians 4:15-16
